TK 4024 Terra Entry 01
My designation is TK-4024. I'm a sergeant in the 501st Legion. Vader's Fist to most - a nickname earned justly so. I was part of a company of forty men sent to investigate an Essdee - that's Star Destroyer to you civvies. I can't disclose the designation in this record. It was classified when we were sent there and I don't want to be shot if I survive this osik hole. Speaking of which; Let me tell you how I survived one zed-filled tin-can of hell... and landed in this shit hole of a planet shock full of the damned things. Little did I know that ones planet-side are far worse than the ones on the Essdee... Far, far worse.
Osik! Visuals are out... all I hear is static. Looks like nobody else in my squad survived the crash. Damn... I hope someone else made it out of the Essdee. Someone who isn't reanimated.
I taste blood on my lips. I call out using the trip-tee... static. Frell. Something must've killed my comm. My scopes are dead so I risk taking my bucket off. That hurt. It comes off almost too easily and I scan my surroundings. I look around the pod to see if any my squad mates survived the crash as a human. At least none of them were bitten. I made sure every one of them didn't have a bite before we ditched. It was a violent crash, apparently. Fi's head is tilted wrong - but then again, his torso is facing the wrong way. Digg and Eight-oh didn't make it either. Hell, I don't even know how I survived. Flash basic training and years of service kicked in. I checked my mate's corpses for extra ammo, spare rations and meds. I also check the other buckets for replacement parts.
“This is TK-4024; Delta Squad. Comm check with Omicron Company... I say again: This is TK-4024; Delta Squad. Comm check with Omicron Comp...” “Delta? This is TX-4435. That you, manic?”
That’s right. I forgot to mention that. Friends call me manic... those who're still alive, that is. We're not quite sure how it started, really. And why is it all lower caps? Probably when I was joking about the mongrel captain who was liaison to the company. He was talking to another mongrel about how dangerous clones could be. So I decided to pull a prank on the miserable di'kut and waited for him to walk into the barracks. I was laughing maniacally just as he went in and as soon as I saw him, I bum-rushed his sorry sheb and made for his face. El-tee told me to stand down and made a show of punching the bulkhead right next to him. The others were in on it of course. Later, El-tee told me that the mongrel was blabbing to the Commander that he had a manic-depressant unstable clone among his ranks. Enough about that. That information is stored in a separate record. You may access that later if you wish.
“Copy. Still alive, huh? Where're you Dakk?” “Dunno… Probably in the same crap hole of a planet you're on.” “Funny. Seriously.” “Activate your IFF tag… Hm… Seems you landed in the outskirts of some primitive city. And guess what…” “What?” “I’ll give you three guesses but the first two doesn’t count” “Don't tell me...” “That's right. But listen up. I'll send you the way points to what looks like a colony of human settlers. Look, I can't make contact often, but I'll keep an eye on you. You might not be the only survivor...” “Copy that” Stereotypical clone response, I know… but it works “Out.”

I made my way around some tipped over and burned out speeders.
Wait? Wheels? By the Emperor, this was a primitive civilization. Haven’t they discovered repulsor tech? Hell, those engines look like they run on fossil fuel combustion!
Upon further inspection, I noticed that there was an electric motor that… WHAP! My armor absorbed most of the kinetic force but I still bounced off the speeder. I turn around to see one of the walking corpses getting ready to strike. Basic kicked in and I fired center of mass– taking off the swinging arm in the process. Damn it. I got on one of the surrounding
What’s that sign? Cars and Trucks for… I can’t make out the rest of it but… OH! That’s what they’re called… Cars.
…cars and fired at the dozen or so of the walking dead. I hoped that the noise didn’t attract another one of those really tall ones with the curved bone sticking out its back §²Å,¦ dn▐‡œºÄ°f’ ¦znÄ® f§Ž,' }³°k `º¦f §¦ ¦

They might not have been smart enough to carry blasters but the can sure pack a punch. I was able to snipe off a bony fellow but the report of the rifle attracted an even bigger oaf. These projectile rifles, do pack a punch!
Not smart enough to carry blasters? That’s right. The zeds planet-side didn’t have the same capabilities as the ones on that shit-can of and Essdee. Ten, one of the combat engineers in the company was able to pull up the records before we banged out. Those who died and reanimated lost everything that made them a person. They did however, retain basic cognitive functions and an alarming capability to learn. Imagine a droid that has been in service for the last ten cycles. Even if you wipe it, it will still function as a droid and can relearn the tasks and information deleted from its system.
He charged and swung at me but I was able to jump with the blow. The bastard still knocked the air out of me, though. My armor absorbed most of the hit as it did with my previous encounter with the smaller version but the force was strong enough to crack my chest plate! Couldn't take another hit like that.
I bounced back on my feet and dove between cars - all the while peppering his face with blaster fire. The brute walked on top of the vehicles to stomp on me but by the time he got on, I was a few meters away with the n▐‡◘-Yl┌
